The brief

A pattern with personality, built for production.

Stage 2 Studios collaborated with BN3TH to create a textile print for the FW25 collection. The design needed to follow established brand guidelines, feel distinct within a seasonal assortment, and meet the technical requirements of commercial apparel manufacturing.

01

Colour Selection

A seasonal palette was selected within BN3TH's guidelines: fresh enough for FW25, but balanced for longevity across the collection.

02

Layout Engineering

A non-linear brick-stack repeat created movement while remaining adaptable to multiple garment panels and fabric orientations.

03

Aesthetic Balance

A CMYK offset treatment introduced subtle vintage depth, softening the digital precision without compromising print clarity.

04

Theme Integration

Flamingos and tropical foliage formed a layered environment, giving the print a playful nature-driven identity rather than a simple motif repeat.

From repeat to form

The print holds its rhythm across a technical garment.

The final application preserves the pattern's movement through curved panels, seams, pouch construction, and waistband placement. Dense tropical detail remains legible while the cyan ground and pink flamingos create immediate shelf recognition.

Production-ready design

Engineered for roller printing.

The repeat was prepared around colour accuracy, consistent tile boundaries, fabric orientation, and predictable reproduction at manufacturing scale.

Versatile preparation

Built as a scalable master.

Final artwork was delivered in Adobe Illustrator format, allowing adaptation across sizes, garment panels, and future product applications.

Market proof

The concept became a commercially released BN3TH product.

The completed Flamingo Ethereal pattern moved beyond presentation artwork into a finished retail garment. Production preparation allowed the visual system to carry cleanly from master file to fabric, photography, and the BN3TH product listing.

Impact and professional practice

Distinctive enough for market impact. Disciplined enough for manufacturing.

The project strengthened BN3TH's seasonal identity while demonstrating reliable work inside a confidential, production-led environment. Brand alignment, technical constraints, feedback, deadlines, and cross-functional handoff were treated as part of the design rather than obstacles around it.
